Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke on Thursday with Fox News about his memories of pro-Israel conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister remarked that he, his wife, and family are "heartbroken," and revealed that during Kirk's 2019 visit to Israel, his son had lunch with him.

"We're shattered, first as human beings, because a great human being has been taken from us. He was an extraordinary friend," the Prime Minister stated.

Netanyahu shared that Kirk wrote him a letter in May, reading, "One of my greatest joys as a Christian is advocating for Israel and forming alliances to defend Judeo-Christian civilization."
