The head of the Houthi Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, declared that the rebel group would continue its attacks on Israel even after reaching a ceasefire agreement with the US to end its attacks on international shipping.
The Houthi-affiliated Al-Masirah news station reported that al-Mashat warned Israelis to “remain in shelters because their government will not be able to protect them."
US President Donald Trump said today (Tuesday) that the Houthi rebel group has communicated that it will stop attacking commercial shipping following the attacks by the US and Israel in recent days and that the US would cease its attacks on Houthi targets as well.
The Houthis have announced they don't want to fight anymore. They just don't want to fight, and we will...

Following her report, multiple victims have come forward with evidence of forged checks and money orders after mailing payments at local post offices in the Baltimore region.
Amira Mitchell discovered her $500 money order, intended for her late mother's property taxes, had been stolen and altered after mailing it outside of the Windsor Mill Post Office in December.

"A little while ago, the Indian armed forces launched ‘OPERATION SINDOOR’, hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed," the Indian government said in a statement.
"Our actions have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature. No Pakistani military facilities have been targeted. India has demonstrated considerable restraint in selection of targets and method of execution," it said.

Baltimore, MD – May 6, 2025 – The Clarence M. Mitchell, Jr. Courthouse in Baltimore was evacuated Tuesday due to an electrical issue, not a fire, according to Baltimore City Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Joseph Whitaker III. Courthouse staff guided people out using large orange flags, while multiple Baltimore City Fire Department trucks responded. At least two trucks have since left the scene. The incident did not result in any reported injuries.
One of those inside the building told BJL that she saw smoke in the building

Hamas is not interested in engaging in ceasefire talks with Israel as long as the war in Gaza continues, senior Hamas official Basem Naim told AFP on Tuesday.
"There is no sense in engaging in talks or considering new ceasefire proposals as long as the hunger war and extermination war continue in the Gaza Strip," Naim was cited as saying.
Later on Tuesday, a spokesperson for Qatar's Foreign Ministry said mediation efforts were ongoing.
This comes as Israel issued on Monday an ultimatum to the terror group following a decision made by the security cabinet on Sunday night.
The ultimatum stated that if Hamas does not agree to Israel’s proposed outline, including the release of 10 hostages in exchange for a 45-day ceasefire, the milita...
The IDF struck various locations across Sanaa, including Sanaa International Airport, electric power stations, and a cement factory, to weaken the Houthis.
Houthi-run Lebanon-based Al Masirah TV corroborated this by stating that the IDF also struck Dhabhan Central Power station in south-east Sanaa, and the al-Imran cement factory north of the capital.
The IDF stated that al-Imran "serves as a significant resource for the Houthi terrorist regime and is used for the construction of underground tunnels and other terrorist infrastructure."
The IDF also struck Attan in south-west Sanaa and Haiz Central Power Station in Sanhan district, south-east of the capital, and Asr Electricity Station in Sanaa's Ma'een district, to the west of the city, according to Al Masi...
A short while ago, IDF fighter jets struck and dismantled Houthi terrorist infrastructure at the main airport in Sana’a, fully disabling the airport, according to the IDF. The strike was carried out in response to the attack launched by the Houthi terrorist regime against Ben Gurion Airport. Flight runways, aircraft, and infrastructure at the airport were struck.
The Houthis released a statement in which they also said that the airport was "completely destroyed."
The IDF stated that similar to the Hudaydah Port that was struck yesterday, the airport served as a central hub for the Houthi terrorist regime to transfer weapons and operatives. It has been routinely used by the Houthi regime for terrorist purposes. This underscores the Houthi terrorist regime’s brutal exploit...

A number of foreign airlines extended their cancellations of flights to Tel Aviv on Monday, a day after a Houthi missile struck near Ben Gurion Airport, and as the Yemen-based terror group threatened to “blockade” Israel’s main transit hub.
Due to the flight cancellations, Israeli carriers started to add some flights and cap one-way fares to help Israelis stranded overseas to travel back home. However, the shortage of available seats was turning the efforts by flagship carrier El Al Israel Airlines and smaller local carriers into no more than a gesture.
United Airlines extended its cancellation of flights to and from Newark Airport through May 11, beyond its original cancellation through May 8.
The Lufthansa group of carriers — which also includes SWISS, Austrian...

The Israeli Air Force is attacking targets in Yemen this evening (Monday), in direct response to the strike on Ben Gurion Airport by a Houthi-launched ballistic missile yesterday. An Israeli official confirmed that the retaliatory strikes are taking place.
The attacks are aimed at the infrastructure of the Houthi organization, which operates as a proxy of Iran. Al-Arabiya has reported that more than 30 Israeli aircraft are participating in the attacks.
The Houthis have released a statement claiming that both Israel and the US were carrying out attacks in the city of Hodeidah.
The missile launch at Israel took place on Sunday afternoon, when a long-range missile was fired from Yemeni territory towards central Israel.
The missile hit an open area near the runway at Ben Gurion A...
The Houthi military spokesperson in Yemen, Yahya Saree, threatened on Sunday evening to impose a "comprehensive aerial blockade on Israel," following the group's launch of a missile that struck Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday morning.
He warned the move will be carried out "through repeated strikes on airports, primarily Ben Gurion Airport."
Additionally, he called on international airlines to cease flying to Israel.
Earlier, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared remarks made by US President Donald Trump about a month and a half ago regarding the need to exact a price from the Houthis, emphasizing that Israel will strike not only the Houthis but also their backers in Iran.
"President Trump is absolutely right! Attacks by the Houthis emanate from Iran. Israel wi...
The Department of Homeland Security said Monday that it will pay immigrants in the United States illegally $1,000 to self-deport through the CBP Home App as the Trump administration continues to push its mass deportation agenda.
"Any illegal alien who uses the CBP Home App to self-deport will also receive a stipend of $1,000, paid after their return to their home country has been confirmed through the app," DHS said in a news release.
Secretary Kristi Noem called it the "best, safest and most cost-effective way to leave the United States to avoid arrest."
"DHS is now offering illegal aliens financial travel assistance and a stipend to return to their home country through the CBP Home App," she added.
The department said it is a 70% savings for U.S. taxpayers and the safest op...
A senior security source addressed the expansion of the fighting in Gaza, which has been codenamed "Operation Gideon Chariots," and says that the goal will be "to defeat and subdue Hamas in Gaza and release all hostages."
According to the source, "In accordance with the plan formulated by the Chief of Staff and the IDF Command and approved by the Minister of Defense and the Prime Minister, the IDF will increase its forces and act forcefully to defeat and subdue Hamas and destroy its military and governmental capabilities, while creating strong pressure for the release of all the hostages. A strong protective envelope will be provided to the forces maneuvering from land, air, and sea, while using heavy equipment to neutralize explosive devices and destroy threatening structures."
